Hoya carnosa 1 litre plants
Hoya carnosa is one of 100 species of Hoya that are native to Eastern Asia and Australia. This one was named after Thomas Hoym, gardener to the Duke of Northumberland at the end of the 18th century. This attractive waxy leaved vine bears clusters of star shaped, pink-white blossoms in summer. The delicate flowers appear to be made of porcelain and are truly unique and it makes a good house plant. It really needs at least 4 hours of direct sunlight a day, but also can be grown in bright indirect or curtain-filtered sunlight. Night temperatures of 60 to 65 degrees and day temperatures of 70 degrees or higher are optimal. Water freely during flowering but allow the soil to become almost dry between waterings when the plants are resting. Fertilize every 2 months in spring and summer. Do not remove the leafless spurs or stubs, on which new flowers appear every year.

Purple Granadilla 1 litre plants
My all time favourite passion flower with large leaves and huge purple flowers with a very heavy scent that just has to be appreciated with your own nose. I have never managed to get any of my plants to set fruit (the giant granadilla which is said to be delicious) but who cares, the flowers are magnificent. Really only suitable for the conservatory but beware, when looked after it will become very rampant! We also have some Passiflora Alata plants for sale - similar flower (please enquire)

Sandpaper Vine - 1 litre plants
An unusual attractive vine from Mexico. It is sometimes called Sandpaper Vine because of the Sandpaper textured leaves or the Purple Wreath, or Blue Bird Vine. It is hardy down to 5°C but not much colder. It will take heavy drought and blooms in the late summer with long lasting foot long tresses of purple flowers.  Good conservatory semi climber or lax shrub.

Flame Vine - 1 litre plants 2t tall

This plant I grew many years ago is native to Brazil, belonging to the botanical family of Bignoniaceae. Masses of orange tubular blooms flower on a fast growing vine. Preferring cool conditions within its native habitat makes it attractive for a warm English conservatory in full sun and free draining soil.

Senecio confusus

Mexican Flame Vine large 1 Litre Plants
Stunning vivid red orange daisy flowers with centres of gold adorn this fast growing Columbian and Mexican native perennial vine. The 2" wide flowers bloom from late spring to fall. Dark green, glossy leaves are toothed on the margins and are very handsome. Beautiful in a basket or on a trellis. It has high heat tolerance, low water requirements and is seldom bothered by pests. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. Senecio confusus means "confused old man" which probably refers to the vine's growth habit - it needs to be provided with some sort of support or it will grow into a tangled mass. It will tolerate a light frost and re grow from the root stock in warmer regions but not tolerant of our cold wet winters - it needs a well drained hot sunny position to be seen at its best.
